Dear Friend of St. Jude,

Jesus tells us that our hearts have room for only one kind of love: God’s love or the love of something else. We cannot love both equally, for we “will either hate one and love the other or be devoted to one and despise the other.” God wants us to love Him with our whole heart, not just a part of it.

We pray together: St. Jude, free me from greed and attachment to material things. May I be generous in using the gifts God has given me for the good of my neighbor.
