Our reflection from the Gospel this week is:

“Blessed are you who are poor, for the kingdom of God is yours.”

Jesus acknowledges three of the eight Beatitudes in today’s Gospel. These sayings remind us that although we suffer trials in this life, our reward in the next will be greater than we could imagine.

We pray together: St. Jude, guide me through life’s challenges. Help me understand that it is not my will but God’s will be done to enter the Kingdom.
