Who is Jesus for you? While Jesus was compared to the prophets and John the Baptist, it was through his faith that Peter came to know who Jesus really was. However, Peter’s faith wavered when he learned that Jesus would need to suffer and die to fulfill God’s work of redemption. From this we learn just how different God’s thoughts and ways can be from our own.

We pray together: Strengthen my faith, St. Jude, and help me live in the victory of the cross by rejecting sin and by accepting God’s will.
