Our reflection from the Gospel this week is:
“Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.”

In this week’s Gospel on All Saints Day, Jesus proclaims the Beatitudes to His disciples. The Beatitudes respond to the natural desire for happiness God has placed in our hearts; however, they are quite the opposite of what we understand as happiness and joy. Jesus tells us that the joys of heaven will satisfy any hungering and thirsting we experience in this world.

We pray together: St. Jude, show me the way that leads to everlasting peace and happiness.
