Our reflection from the Gospel this week is:

“My kingdom does not belong to this world.”

Jesus has no need to demonstrate His power before Pontius Pilate. He had already performed many miracles and shown His compassion for the sick and suffering. By allowing Himself to suffer and to carry His cross to Calvary, Jesus offers us the greatest love the world has ever known. We are called to show that same love in our lives, to follow in Christ’s footsteps and take up our cross. We ask God for His strength, and St. Jude for his hope and inspiration, to take on this challenge every day.

We pray together: St. Jude, thank you for the blessings you seek for me from God. Continue to help me as I work to follow in Christ’s footsteps.
