In the parable, Jesus tells us about the amount of trust the master places in his servants. He expects the servants to use the money responsibly, and rewards the ones that do. God trusts us to use the talents He has given us responsibly. We are expected to share our gifts with others instead of hiding them or using them to do works of evil.

We pray together: St. Jude, intercede for me to use the skills God has given me so that I may be entrusted with more faithful acts.
