In this week’s Gospel we read of Jesus’ Ascension to heaven. The Apostles realized that Christ’s Resurrection and Ascension was not something that happened only to Jesus. It is a promise from God for abundant life and victory over death and sin in all its forms. Christ’s departure does not mean we are left alone. Christ lives in us, and through Him we share in His Resurrection.

We pray together: St. Jude, may I strive to live out my life full of truth. Help me to be mindful that I may call on you to guide and protect me and my loved ones from all that keeps us from the truth of Christ.
