On the first Sunday of Lent, the Gospel tells us of Jesus’ 40 days and 40 nights in the desert. The devil tried to tempt Him in various situations, but Jesus always refuted Satan’s attempts. Christ reminds us that our life comes from the Lord, and we should worship no one besides Him.
