Our reflection from the Gospel this week is:
“This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.”

The story of the Transfiguration that we see in Sunday’s Gospel speaks of the glory of God, which is His presence in the midst of the world. God’s presence in Jesus is the guarantee of our salvation. What the Apostles with Jesus have seen is an announcement. Now the work of God must be carried out.   

We pray together: St. Jude, grant me the grace to work conscientiously, putting the call of God’s will above my desires.
