In this week’s Gospel, Jesus is astonished by the lack of faith among His own people. Despite knowing Him best, Jesus’ friends and neighbors can’t believe that He is the Son of God.

As devotees of St. Jude, we know what it means to seek hope through our faithful prayer. We remember that Jesus was not revered closest to home, where it is also easy for us to take the people we love for granted.

We pray together: St. Jude, help me to show love and honor to those closest to me. May my prayer and devotion continue to help me to grow in faith.
