Our reflection from the Gospel this week is:

“They were overjoyed at seeing the star, and on entering the house they saw the child with Mary His mother.”

This Sunday we celebrated Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord. The three magi (also known as “the wise men” from the East) followed the star to see Jesus. They left everything behind and traveled incredible distances to find “the newborn king” and celebrate His birth. We find their same sense of wonder and awe as we reflect on how significantly the birth of Christ changed what is possible for our lives as God’s children.

We pray together: St. Jude, help me to be a good witness of the joy of the Gospel to all I meet.
