Our reflection from the Gospel this week is:

“When someone strikes you on your right cheek, turn the other one as well.”

This week’s Gospel talks about forgiveness. Jesus instructs us to “love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Though sometimes it may be difficult, we are called to treat everyone with kindness and mercy. By praying for those who hurt us, we build ourselves up instead of letting them tear us down.

We pray together: St. Jude, give me the strength to turn the other cheek. Help me to pray for all people  so that I may not become bitter toward anyone.
