Our reflection from the Gospel this week is:

“Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

On this first Sunday of Lent, Mark tells how Jesus retreated to the desert to be tempted. Upon returning to Galilee, Jesus—like John the Baptist—preached repentance. Do you seek temptation directly or does it come from ordinary situations of life?
