”Master,” Simon answered, “we worked hard all night long and caught nothing. But if you say so, I will let down the nets.”

They let them down and caught such a large number of fish that the nets were about to break.
When we work without trust in God, we work in vain.

When we follow Christ’s example—when we do the work that Jesus did—God blesses our effort, whether we realize it or not.

We pray together: St. Jude, grant me the grace to hear God’s call to me in my work, and the strength to work as Jesus did.
