Dear Friend of St. Jude,

Our reflection from the Gospel this week is:

“‘Master, we have worked hard all night and have caught nothing, but at your command I will lower the nets.’ When they had done this, they caught a great number of fish and their nets were tearing.”

When we work without trust in God, we work in vain. When we follow Christ’s example—when we do the work that Jesus did—God blesses our effort, whether we realize it or not.

We pray together: St. Jude, fill my heart with love and compassion for those who do not know or follow Christ. May I be a good witness of His truth and salvation to others.
