Sunday we recognized the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph as they took Jesus to the Temple. There they encountered Simeon and Anna, who had awaited the coming of the Lord for the duration of their long lives. They were able to see beyond the plain appearance of the Holy Family because they never ceased to worship God.

We pray together: St. Jude, intercede for me so that my hope in God and His promises grows with age.
