Hope in the Holy Spirit

Much focus in our prayer lives is rightly on God, Jesus, and the saints.

These are core to our faith, illuminating for us the presence of another core relationship in
faith: the Holy Spirit, that precious aspect of the Trinity that is within us, always. The Spirit in turn shows us the nature of God so that we might yet in turn illuminate God to others with the way we live our lives.

The Holy Spirit is the engine that keeps our spiritual lives growing always closer to God. The Holy Spirit attracts us to our devotion, guiding us to the Spirit through St. Jude.

It is one thing to define a divine relationship, and another to live in it and to walk in it. To do this, we “practice” being in touch with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit through St. Jude.

The filling of the Holy Spirit within is an ongoing process in the Christian life. Through examination of conscience, seeking and giving merciful love, with the will to come back to God always, we experience the presence of the divine Spirit as a known and integral aspect of our lives.

The nature, power, and essence of God and His Son are manifest for us in the gift of the Holy Spirit. The fruits of the Spirit include the very joy, peace, and abundant hope that call us to devotion to St. Jude.
