Pray With Us During October
The month of October is a special time of prayer and thanksgiving for us at the National Shrine of St. Jude. We celebrate our last Solemn Novena of the year, October 26th—November 3rd, and the Feast of St. Jude on October 28th.
On the Feast Day of St. Jude we celebrate a special Mass at the Shrine, with the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick available at the Mass. We invite you to join us on October 28th either in person at the Shrine at 5:30 p.m. CDT or by viewing our live-stream of the Mass on our Facebook page and YouTube channel beginning at 5:30 p.m. CDT.
Each October we also share stories about the National Shrine of St. Jude’s history and continuing mission. Nurture your devotion to our Patron Saint during this special month by exploring the many prayer and reflection opportunities throughout our website, including:
- View the National Shrine of St. Jude Comic Book – Jude: The Forgotten Saint
- Download & share our free St. Jude coloring pages with family & friends
- Light a St. Jude Vigil Light
- Request a Mass for a loved one or friend
- Make a gift to the Shrine
May you be filled with the hope and strength of our faith through the intercession of St. Jude as he continues his work as one of Christ’s Apostles.
