For more than 10 years I had a black stripe under my thumb nail, and I never did anything about it. It eventually disappeared in when I was in my 50s. Today I saw an article that such a stripe might be a form of a rare cancer. While I will be never know if it were cancerous, I give great thanks to Jesus for protecting me. I also thank St. Jude and all of the other saints who I have often asked for help. During my 40s and 50s I was caring for my elderly parents through their long, debilitative, and ultimately terminal illnesses. I thank God for giving me the health and strength to care for them, work full time, and meet my other commitments in life.
