This is a friend’s granddaughter! She is 4 months old now and needs healing prayers!
Emerson was diagnosed with a very rare congenital heart disease called truncus arteriosus. They’re not sure yet what the plan is for her heart, she’s still so small that surgery isn’t an option until she gets bigger. I don’t have a ton of positives to add other than she’s still breathing at good percentages and her heart rate doesn’t indicate that her heart is working too hard and they haven’t started to see signs of heart failure. The U of M doctors have seen this rare condition before, but this exact combination of complications has been seen once but never in anyone her age/born this early. We don’t have a ton of answers right now.
