Annuity payments are backed by all assets of the Claretians. Your contract specifies that your payments will continue for the remainder of your life.

One-life

To start a single-life annuity, transfer a specified amount of cash or assets to the Claretians. In exchange, you receive guaranteed payments for life. Age determines the annuity rate. Generally, the older you are, the higher your rate.

Two-life

If you prefer a two-life annuity, the ages of both annuitants determine the rate. The annuity guarantees a specified income for the duration of the contract. After the death of either annuitant, the survivor continues to receive the fixed payment. Rates for two-life annuities are slightly less than a single-life annuity.
