Father God,
Our hearts are aching today as we say goodbye to my grandpa Kenny. Fill our hearts with assurance that he rests now in Your arms, and drive away the doubts that seek to make our grief deeper during this time. Touch our minds and our lips to share words of Your comfort with each other. Thank you so much for his life and his love and his faith. Lord, please keep him in your care and allow us to be with eachother once again Your glory. Help us to fix our minds on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. Namely on Your Son Jesus, His work, His Resurrection power, the current and eternal glory Grandpa is joyfully experiencing, and the certainty that we will join him and see him there. We fully commit ourselves to you Lord.
