Heavenly Father, please help all who have cancer as well as myself. Ideally, please heal us all. Please let us feel the Holy Spirit you sent to us, healing, relieving our fears and strengthening our faith that you are with us in all things and that you love us. When we have pain or are afraid or frustrated, we sometimes forget that you are in control. Please be present constantly and let us know. This is new to me, as I just found out I had cancer… Stage IV lung. I’m sure others are confused and afraid like I am. Please help us, in Jesus’ name and with our most loving and helpful patron of hopelessness, St. Jude. Also, we ask St. Peregrin, patron of cancer, to intercede with St. Jude. Thank you and praise you Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit. Amen.
