I belong to a local Episcopal church in Cupertino, California. I have two prayer requests tonight.
First off, my dad, Eric Richard Mart, has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer; the good news is, is that although the cancer has spread, it has been caught early, and he’s responding very very well to chemo. And secondly, a cousin of his, Deborah Jean Harding, is in hospice; she was being treated for cancer, yet has reached a stage where fluid has moved to a very bad place in the body, and her doctors are extremely worried.
For both my dad & his cousin, I command the cancer & the fluid to leave; forbid cancer cells to multiply and fluid to spread, in Jesus name. I command existing cancer cells to die; the spirits of death & fear to leave both bodies & souls, in Jesus name.
I ask that the Lord come with His wonderful healing presence, and complete the healing, and work His glory in my dads body, and in Debbie’s body, in Jesus name.
I ask that the Holy Spirit come to fill and encourage both people, and to minister to them both, in Jesus name.
I realize, Lord, that I am not perfect. None of us are. I am human; we are human. I have sinned, sometimes greatly, and though I know I will continue to sin, I am doing my very best to repent, and to get to know you better.
For you know who I am, and you know my heart.
In Jesus name,
This I pray.
