Healing Novena to St. Jude
August 17th - 25th
As people of faith, we know we are never alone. Our challenges vary—with some days heavier than others—but our devotion to St. Jude reminds us to open ourselves to inspiration and hope. This devotion also reminds us that for God, nothing is impossible.
Send your special intentions to the National Shrine and we will place them at the altar of St. Jude, where they will be remembered in our Masses and prayers throughout the Solemn Novena for Healing, August 17th – 25th.
We welcome you to the National Shrine for in-person Mass throughout all the days of the Novena as we pray for St. Jude’s intercession for physical comfort, emotional strength, and spiritual calm. Devotees who are unable to join us at the Shrine of St. Jude in Chicago can still participate with us through our website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel. Videos of the Novena services will be available on our website Monday – Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. CDT. Use the Printable Novena Program Booklet below to follow along and join guest preacher Fr. Eslin Pereira, CMF for daily Novena services.
Healing is one of the most prominent events in Jesus’ public ministry. St. Jude accompanied Jesus with the other Apostles to learn and bear witness to the power of God’s love for each of us. Many can lose hope in difficult times and become distracted by wondering what lies ahead. With a sense of encouragement guiding us through adversity, however, we’re better able to stay positive, to not lose faith, and to inspire others.
Together, let us spread the hope of St. Jude.
