By Ashley Cady | April 30, 2019
An altar in a church featuring a large framed image of Jesus with rays emanating from His heart, placed beside a tall decorated candle. Several pots of blooming lilies and other flowers are arranged in front of the altar. A wall-mounted statue and a hymn number board are visible in the background during Easter.

St. Jude calls us all to experience the intercessory power of Novena prayer in our lives. As we continue to pray during this Spring Novena, there is still time to…

The St. Jude Journal – April 2019

By Ashley Cady | April 24, 2019
Prayer: We turn to you, God, seeking your loving guidance in all aspects of our lives, thanking you for our many blessings, and welcoming the faith you so generously have entrusted to us. As we pray, we echo the words of Romans 12:12: Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Reflection: God provides. He is good and gives us what we need in life to grow in faith and in love. Being patient in the face of uncertainty can be challenging; yet, remaining focused in prayer allows us to weather trying times, knowing that God always provides. Our prayers to St. Jude give us an opportunity to hope from deep within our heart-for the good that God holds for us and the strength that He gives to us.

Our faith gives direction to our lives as we continue to grow in our relationship with God. Many aspects of our faith come together to bring His loving presence into…
